A Vegetarian Thanksgiving Made Easy by Veg-in-out Meals

It’s the Holiday Menu that is the talk of the town. Staying healthy during Thanksgiving is made easy with Veg-In-Out. This week Chef Bill had added an extra dish to the menu again to help with the extra guest and the economic crunch. Feel free to order even more Mash Potatoes or Stuffing to feed all the hungry friends and family this Holiday week. I guarantee they will want the low fat, zero cholesterol and great tasting version, they always do at my house.
Mary at Dolci di Maria’s has created a special Thanksgiving Cake to delight all the dessert fans this week. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cake with Cinnamon Icing. YUM! You can order cupcakes or full size cakes, and you can order just a cake, if you are picking up at our North Asheville location. Thanks giving has never been so good for you.

Healthy Thanksgiving Menu
November 24th 2008
ORDER HERE

1. Vegan Turkey – whole wheat gluten (or tempeh loaf) oat flour, thyme, rice bran, garlic, arrowroot, wheat free tamari, cumin, parsley.
2. Butternut Squash & Tofu Pilaf –brown rice, butternut squash, tofu, carrots, onions, coriander, thyme, garlic, pepper, basil, salt.

3. Cashew Mushroom Pasta- Pasta bows (or rice pasta), mixed mushrooms, cashews, carrot, zucchini, red peppers, garlic, safflower oil, basil, sea salt.

4. Herb Mashed Potatoes – potato, soy milk, soy margarine, parsley, cilantro, rosemary, sea salt

5. Worlds Best Stuffing – corn bread, whole wheat, (or wheat free breads) corn, celery, carrots, sweet potato, onion, walnuts, raisins, oregano, celery seed, tarragon, sea salt, cinnamon.

6 Roasted String bean Almandine – string beans, almonds, carrots wheat free soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper, onion, cumin, parsley, cayenne pepper.
